Gettin' Old

So today I was walking down 17th street heading to the bank when I passed by this guy in a blazer and tie. He stopped and said, "Mr. Sinagra?"

It was a student of mine from my first year teaching in Philly. He was a 14-year-old freshman boy when I met him, he's a professional architect with a firm now.

Oh crap do I feel old.

All of a sudden it hits you, doesn't it?
Just think about all the good things in your life like your wonderful family, friends, the students you have taught and mentored, and it won't seem so bad.
Of course, some days when you get out of bed your body tries to tell you something different!
Love,
Mom
